Job Title: International Business Development Manager
Location: Brighton (outskirts) - own transport required. Hybrid model but need to be able to attend the office 2-3 days a week
Hours: Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm
Salary: £40-45k
We are delighted to be supporting our client, a leading manufacturer and retailer of luxury wellbeing products, in their search for an International Business Development Manager to join their team.
This is an excellent opportunity to join an established, and rapidly growing business and lead in the growth and development of their brand and products in international markets. You will be responsible for establishing new business and growing existing business with omni-channel retailers/etailers.
This role will someone with sales and business development experience in FMCG / Health & Beauty/ Wellbeing. Ideally you will have experience in approaching and establishing new business connections within the retail and ecommerce spheres.
The Role:
Setting and implementing 12 - 36 month growth strategies
Delivering on new business objectives securing and managing new international accounts and channels
Act as point of contact with international sales brokers to action provided information to secure new international business
Capitalising on introductions and leads to secure new international business
Being lead contact person for international accounts
Managing international account including negotiations, forecastingdeveloping joint business plans, sales and Marketing planning and reviews
Work with internal departments to co-ordinate stock, logistics, technical specifications and to minimise impact on international customers
Travel to visit clients and prospective clients as necessary
The Person:
FMCG Sales / Account Management experience in the health and beauty / Wellbeing sectors with international distributors, retailers, and e-commerce across different markets
Entrepreneurial and energetic approach to securing new business
Solid administrative and organizational skills including high levels of accuracy, attention to detail and multitasking skills
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Understanding of international logistics, shipping terms and business terms
Experience in project management
Experienced in managing product registration and documentation where a market requirement
Developing and Tracking Budgets
