A leading international bank is looking to hire an Interim Technology and Data Lawyer for a 12 month basis.
The role is based in Glasgow and the bank has a hybrid working arrangement. This role forms part of the EMEA Technology and Data legal practice group. It is an excellent opportunity to join a market leader in the banking and finance space.
Requirements:
England and Wales qualified Solicitor or commonwealth lawyer.
4 PQE and up
Experience gained at well-regarded law firm, large financial institution or technology company.
Experience in technology legal advisory, data, intellectual property, and/or commercial contracts is an advantageous.
Role responsibilities:
Advise on a variety of technology laws and requirements, such as sourcing/outsourcing/offshoring, artificial intelligence, cloud, intellectual property, operational resiliency and other emerging technologies.
Review, draft and negotiate a variety of technology agreements such as technology outsourcing, hardware and software purchases, SaaS and other cloud transactions, maintenance and support arrangements, and design and construction agreements.
Working closely with compliance, risk and business partners.
Advise on brand infringement matters, handle IP queries coordinate domain name registrations.
