McCabe and Barton are partnering with a growing global ESG client in recruiting for an IT Operations Manager on a permanent basis.
The Role
We're seeking an IT Operations Manager to join our client's dynamic team in London. This pivotal role combines hands-on technical expertise with strategic vision, supporting approximately 50 users in a SaaS-centric environment.
Location: Central London (3 days in office, 2 days WFH option)
Key Responsibilities
Manage and optimize the SaaS-based technology stack (Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Salesforce)
Collaborate with the IT Managed Service Provider for 1st and 2nd line support
Implement IT security strategies and policies with the security vendor
Troubleshoot complex technical issues
Contribute to IT roadmap development and strategic planning
Required Skills and Experience
8+ years in an IT operations, role, preferably in a SaaS-heavy environment
Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 suite, SharePoint, and Salesforce
Experience with Microsoft Cloud-based services (Entra, Intune, Autopilot)
Strong Vendor management experience
Must be hands on and be able to work stand-alone
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
In-depth knowledge of IT security best practices
Excellent stakeholder management skills
Qualifications
Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
Relevant IT certifications (e.g., ITIL, CISSP, PMP) preferred
