Role Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Team Leader to join our team. This role involves leading a team of operatives, ensuring the highest standards of health & safety, quality, efficiency, and delivery in your area.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage a team at the operative level, fostering a professional and positive attitude.
Utilize strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills to monitor and address staffing requirements.
Ensure team members are trained to a competent level, maintaining the necessary skill levels for safe and correct task execution.
Oversee and ensure the accuracy of relevant paperwork and hygiene systems.
Analyze, communicate, and regularly review team performance to ensure continuous improvement.
Implement and uphold good cleaning practices, with an understanding of environmental and allergen swabbing regimes.
Manage staff rotas and holidays using the Time Management System (TMS).
Step up to the Manager position to provide coverage during holiday periods.
General Responsibilities:
Adhere to all Health and Safety and Hygiene rules.
Perform any other reasonable duties as requested by your Manager.
Carry out tasks economically, ensuring effective use of time and resources.
Take responsibility for personal development, with training provided where needed.
Skills & Experience Required:
Essential: At least 1 year of experience in a FMCG hygiene role.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred: Proven experience in leading a team.
Food Safety Level 2 certification.
