HUMANITIES: History, Geography and RE Teacher

Salary: £90-£200 per day

GSL Education are looking to hire passionate History, Geography and RE Teachers who can deliver engaging lessons in a rigorous and nurturing classroom environment at a renowned school in West Kent. Interested individuals will be responsible for preparing lessons and curricula, facilitating student-led discourse, providing academic support, fostering good relationships, and empowering students to use their voices to express evidence-based opinions.
Candidates both newly qualified and skilled are welcomed whole-heartedly. Individuals with experience teaching History, Geography or RE are encouraged to apply. Timetables are flexible and schools seeking Humanities Teachers are open to any or all subjects.
For this role, the deserving candidate will be expected to:
Have a degree in Humanities, Social Sciences, RE, History or Geography with a relevant UK teaching qualification e.g. PGCE with QTS.
Have strong command of the curriculum.
Be up to date in their field of expertise with the capability of fostering curiosity and interest for the subjects.
Evaluate student performance and make recommendations for improvement.
Build positive relationships with students to ensure they feel seen, loved, and heard. 
To be eligible for any role with GSL Education you must: 
Hold the Right to Work in the UK. 
Possess an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online Update Service or be willing to process a new application. GSL Education offers:
