We are seeking an experienced HSE Manager to drive health, safety and environmental compliance on our FMCG manufacturing facility based in the North West . The successful candidate will manage, develop, and implement HSE objectives to ensure a safe working environment.

Description

The HSE Manager will form a crucial part of the senior leadership team and will:

• Develop and implement HSE policies and procedures
• Conducting regular safety audits and inspections
• Ensure compliance with all relevant HSE legislations
• Providing HSE training to staff and maintaining training records
• Investigating any HSE incidents and implementing corrective actions
• Reporting on HSE performance to senior management
• Managing relationships with external HSE bodies and stakeholders
• Reduce sites waste and environmental impact
• Develop and drive the EH&S plan for the site in pursuit of HSE

Profile

The successful HSE Manager will possess a range of the following:

• Professional HSE qualifications, ideally NEBOSH and IMEA
• Proven experience in a similar role within the FMCG industry (food advantageous)
• Strong knowledge of HSE legislation and standards
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Proficiency in risk assessment and incident investigation
• A strong understanding of UK/EU Health, Safety & Environment legislations within a manufacturing environment
