It’s an opportunity to be a part of one of the fastest growing, most forward thinking teams in the fleet industry.This is an exciting opportunity for a HSE Manager to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis.As a HSE Manager, you’ll be a subject matter exert who is able to engage and mobilise our business to provide exceptional Health & Safety standards. Working closely with the company's Senior Leadership Team, you will be responsible for all strategic guidance on all health, Safety and Environmental matters and to work closely with the site teams to bring improvements and drive changes.What you'll do:Promote company values in all dealings with other employees, clients, sub-contractors, and other external contacts.Support the development of a strong Health and Safety focused culture across the business and promote good safety behaviours.Have extensive knowledge in Health and Safety legislation and best practice to assist with compliance and continuous improvement.Liaise with employees, subcontractors and suppliers on Health and Safety matters as required.Identify possible operational risks or opportunities, and work with operational teams to ensure an appropriate and effective response.Support the development of briefing and communication strategies to ensure that the Health and Safety plan and important information is understood and operated by all employees and subcontractors.Coaching and supporting management teams to generate new solutions to common, everyday issues.Communicating positive H&S performance effectively to both internal and external stakeholders.Engaging across the sites, implementing health and safety policies and procedures, and ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation.Conducting training, toolbox talks, inductions and investigating incidents where required.Support the HR Manager and Company Director with any occupational health issues.Undertaking audits and inspections of the site, identifying areas for improvement, and reporting on the findings.What you've got:NEBOSH Diploma and/or other relevant H&S qualifications.Health and Safety experience across industries such as automotive, construction, manufacturing, and engineering.Full UK driving license.Drive and enthusiasm with the ability to promote a positive Health and Safety culture.Commitment to continuous professional development.Working knowledge of CDM/Asbestos/Working at height.Strong written and verbal communication e.g report writing, briefings, and presentation skills.Able to work under pressure and deliver results to tight deadlines.Reliable, flexible, cooperative individual with a can-do attitude.Personable and approachable, with an enthusiastic and motivational nature and an overall passion for excellence.What you'll get:A salary of £50,000 - £60,000 dependant on experience.An enhanced employer pension contributions scheme.Access to ‘My Staff Shop’ our Pullman benefits portal with 1000’s of high street, online, supermarket, cinema, travel and gym discounts.Financial and health wellbeing programs and support including and employee assistance program.Reward & recognition programs.The opportunity to be part of a forward-thinking collaborative team who will focus on your future career and development.Be Part of Something BiggerWe’re looking for passionate individuals to join our mission and propel our business forward.
