THE POST – REQ000175 - HR Manager (Internally known as People Manager)
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced People Manager to join our growing people and wellbeing team. As the People Manager, you will lead and inspire a team of People professionals, driving strategic initiatives and providing expert HR guidance to the University. You will be involved in developing strong relationships with stakeholders and support the management of organisational change projects. The post holder will provide specialist HR support and guidance and will manage the HR team. This role involves leading the operational delivery of escalated employee relations case management issues.
The successful candidate should have the following –
Proven leadership skills with an inclusive approach in managing a team of HR professionals
Significant skills in building strong partnerships and working collaboratively.
Proven project management and change management skills.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Experience in working with Trade Unions
Ability to drive improvements via the introduction of best practices, policy development, and implementation.
