The company

Our client is a specialist college who empower diverse students and clients with innovative education and support. They foster inclusivity, integrity, and high standards while offering excellent facilities in a vibrant city. They are now looking for a HR Coordinator to join their team in Birmingham.
The role

Reporting to the HR Manager, a HR Coordinator is now required to join the team in Birmingham on a full-time permanent basis.
Hours: 37 hours a week (Mon-Thurs 8-4:30pm, Fri 8-4pm)





You will take responsibility for:




  • Collecting, structuring, analysing and reporting HR processes and data

  • Defining, calculating and clearly explaining a wide variety of HR-oriented metrics, including but not limited to pay, sickness, benefits, headcount, attrition, employee engagement and relations, recruitment and ED&I (equality, diversity and inclusion)

  • Creating FE Data Workforce reports and AOC reports, with a focus on absence management

  • Ensuring all reports are reliable and accurate, as well as being visually appealing and easy to understand

  • Support staff recruitment in the future – through advertising, interviews and onboarding processes.





What you need

It is ESSENTIAL for the successful candidate to have the following:




  • Ideally CIPD Qualified (part of full) and/or relevant experience

  • Experience of working with HR systems and Data Management

  • Enhanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and proficient with Outlook, Word and PowerPoint

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal





Other DESIRABLE skills include:




  • Good understanding of Data Protection/GDPR and confidentiality
