Pay Rate: �17 P/H (Umbrella)

Hours Per Week: 35 Hours

Job Type: Contract - 3 months+

Liverpool City Council are currently looking for a Homeless Assessment Officer to join their team on a contract basis.

The Role

• Conduct interviews and negotiations to prevent homelessness.
• Provide housing advice and support to vulnerable client groups.
• Ensure accurate record-keeping of statements and findings.
• Collaborate with accommodation providers to secure solutions.

The Candidate

• Proven experience in homelessness prevention, housing advice, and working with vulnerable clients.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and interviewing skills.
• In-depth knowledge of housing, welfare benefits, and relevant legislation.
• Ability to think creatively and deliver practical solutions for clients.
