We’re recruiting on behalf of a nationally recognised construction business renowned for delivering high-profile projects across commercial, education, and healthcare sectors.

The Role:

As Health & Safety Manager, you’ll be responsible for managing and developing health, safety, and environmental standards across multiple live projects throughout the North East. You’ll act as a key advisor to operational teams, ensuring best practices are implemented and maintained at all times.

Key responsibilities include:

Driving a positive HSE culture across all sites

*

Conducting site inspections, audits, and risk assessments

*

Supporting project teams with safety planning and compliance

*

Producing and reviewing RAMS, incident reports, and HSE documentation

*

Keeping up to date with UK legislation and industry standards

What We’re Looking For:

*

NEBOSH Construction Certificate (minimum)

*

Experience working on large-scale construction projects, ideally with a Tier 1 contractor

*

Up-to-date knowledge of CDM Regulations and current H&S legislation

*

Strong communication and leadership skills

*

Full UK driving licence
