Manage the product and procurement teams for the group of companies.
Understand and manage the potential impact of product and portfolio changes.
Working closely with Procurement, Product and Marketing teams to ensure the supply process runs smoothly from inception of product and maintenance of supplier relationships, right through any product transition and ultimately product end-of-life.
*Ownership of supply chain activities for given categories, ensuring the procurement function is effective.
*Lead the transformation of the procurement team. Identify skill gaps within team. Coach, develop and mentor team to high performance.
*Ensure the correct deployment of resources to meet all customer requirements, ensuring a consistently high standard of performance is expected and achieved from Procurement staff.
*Create & communicate individual development plans for the supply chain team and recognise and reward best practise and how it can be shared within the team.
*Responsible for setting category plans in line with company strategy and delivering agreed KPI targets with stock availability, inbound, and margin control.
*Timely execution of business activity to deliver company sales plans. Monitor achievement to plan.
*Identify and pursue opportunities to drive business efficiency through the end to end supply chain.
*Promote supplier relationship management and actively engage with key suppliers to address issues and identify potential opportunities to further develop collaboration and deliver continuous improvement of supplier performance (Costs, Service and Quality)
*Develop key supplier performance measures and reporting that will be used to monitor both supplier and company's performance.
