The Head of Hospitality will implement, design and deliver strategies to ensure the highest of standards are being delivered, to ensure hospitality standards are the best in the market and most importantly to ensure that all our residents receive a premium hospitality and dining experience, that we would expect for ourselves and loved ones.

This is a home based role with frequent UK wide travel.

Responsibilities:

• Communicate the hospitality strategy and standards to key stakeholders ensuring that they are engaged and coached to deliver against it

• Work with the dementia team and life enrichment team to ensure the dining experience is person centred with a whole home approach as appropriate and developed. Our objective is to always and without exception provide a premium experience

• To help drive quality across the estate whilst inspiring the hospitality team to always strive to raise standards

• Regular travel across the UK to support your fantastic hospitality team, the broader operational team, and setting up new build homes for success

• This role provides the opportunity to lead, support and motivate a dedicated team. To encourage the team to implement new ideas, strategies and suggestions to roll out across business

Experience and Qualifications:

• Hold a relevant catering / hospitality qualification OND/HND Catering & Hotel Management, HCIMA, C&G 706 series, SVQ, NVQs
• Food hygiene & Health and safety certificates
• Hold a UK driving licence - This is a home based role with frequent travel across the UK
• Up to date knowledge on food legislation
• Strong understanding of nutrition
• Experience of working with fresh seasonal food
• A strong understanding of all aspects of catering and hospitality
• Good commercial acumen for budgeting, forecasts, and costing to ensure we maintain exceptional standards
• Strategic thinking and delivering of new projects
• Confident being part of a senior management team
• Pro-active thinker and ‘can-do’ attitude
• Committed to achieving consistently high standards in all areas of Hospitality
