We are currently looking for a Head of Engineering to join a Global Pharmaceutical business based in the Angus area of Scotland. As the Head of Engineering, you will be responsible for leading the engineering, maintenance, and facility management services at the site, including the delivery of CAPEX Projects. KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Your duties as the Head of Engineering will be varied; however, the key duties and responsibilities are as follows: 1. You will be a key member of the Site Senior Leadership Team, working closely to develop site strategy, implement site performance KPIs, and translate these into specific annual performance goals. 2. Lead the engineering function at the site to safely and cost-effectively deliver engineering, maintenance, and facility services required to support site activities. Define and implement the site engineering development strategy, in collaboration with key stakeholders, including the five-year capital investment plan. 3. Implement safe and GMP-compliant working practices within the function, ensuring the team performs their duties accordingly. 4. Define and implement the site development strategy, in collaboration with key stakeholders, including the five-year capital investment plan. 5. Responsible for site-wide adherence to all statutory requirements and Company regulations and guidelines applicable to engineering activities which relate to engineering integrity. This includes, CAPEX, Maintenance and Construction Engineering, Project and Design Engineering, Contractor Management, Site Effluent Treatment, Utilities and Energy conservation. ROLE REQUIREMENTS: To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the Head of Engineering, we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history: 1. You will hold a relevant degree qualification in either an Engineering or Science related discipline. Chartered Engineer status is desirable, but not essential. 2. Extensive industry experience in engineering leadership within a highly regulated manufacturing facility, preferably within the Pharmaceutical sector. 3. A working knowledge and practical experience with cGMP requirements.
