Head of Engineering for a Global Organisation with a London HQ, ideally a Hybrid setup with 1 Day a week in the office – very flexible approach to this. A chance to have real impact and continue the growth and performance of this group.

The Job
Working in a collaborative team of Product group leaders you will be responsible for the engineering function ensuring high-quality solutions are delivered and continuing the high engineering standards. You will combine your technical knowledge with your business/product to ensure the right technology choices are made and implemented. This role has a strong strategic focus as well as the technical, mentoring and development of your team’s aspect.
With 4 initial line reports your function will consist of approx. 24 in total and there are plans for this to grow over the next 12 – 18 months.
About You
As an experienced engineering leader, you should be confident in your leadership and stakeholder management style and have experience of growing teams from 0-1 as well as running established functions.
Coming from a software engineering background you should still be technically focused and have a solid understanding in cloud solutions (they use AWS here) and be able to drive engineering standards.
