Head Chef Ideal Candidate Profile:
Proven experience as a Head Chef in a 2 AA Rosette (or higher) environment, preferably within a hotel setting
A minimum of 9 years cooking and 7 years kitchen management experience
Strong background in training, coaching, and managing a high-calibre culinary team
Skilled in budget management, cost control, and maintaining high standards of kitchen hygiene
Passionate about using fresh ingredients and creating innovative dishes
Head Chef Responsibilities:
Lead and inspire a team of professional chefs to produce high-quality dishes
Manage kitchen operations including menu planning, inventory control, and supplier relations
Ensure all dishes meet the strict criteria for quality and presentation
Conduct regular training sessions to enhance the skills of the kitchen staff
Collaborate with the General Manager to align culinary operations with the hotels strategic goals
