Job Title : Head Chef The Company...
My Client is a large independent lively Restaurant with a Brasserie style concept , which is perfectly placed for business or leisure, be it a family break, getaway or a fun filled adventure in this cosmopolitan metropolis. The restaurant and lounge bar are all fresh produce menus from local suppliers, looking for a New Head Chef to come in with some creativity & flair.
The restaurant has gained an excellent reputation. The food is presented in an informally relaxed manner is served all day, every day.

Straight shifts & splits available pattern closed Sunday evenings & 2 days off.

The Job Working as a Head Chef -Lead the team in an extremely busy environment, supporting the General Manager in daily operations ensuring smooth service is delivered throughout the busiest of lunches & dinners.
The Restaurant has developed an enviable reputation for style, ambience and culinary excellence since it opened. The menu provides a varied and irresistible range of modern cuisine, all served with style. They would like some New ideas, and an injection of enthusiasm for a Head Chef to come and make his mark.
The Person As a Head Chef you will need to have come from a Restaurant background, fast paced fresh produce large restaurant preferably Mediterranean influenced.
Worked previously in a busy operation and be eager to give that extra mile. You need to have a passion for food with a creative flair, and the drive to exceed all customer expectations.
Previous experience as a Head Chef level is essential
Skilled in the art of butchery & fishmongerie
Ability to both self motivate and motivate others manage a brigade of 6 plus Kitchen Porters.
Create & organize daily Special menus bringing fresh ideas
Oversee all Food orders and control Hazardous substance orders.
Ensure all food items are labelled, fridges organized and stock levels maintained
All H&S documentation supersedes 5 star standards for relative inspections
Ability to coach new staff when required
Ability to meet & increase profit margins, exceeding current targets
