Haulage Officer

Questech Recruitment are currently recruiting on behalf of an industry leading client for a Haulage Manager / Officer. This role offers great opportunities in an excellent working environment.
This is a long-term ongoing role through the agency which is paid on a weekly basis.
Role :
Managing a site including Supervisors, Drivers and ground staff, developing their skills and competencies to ensure productivity and efficiency.
Supporting and overseeing the rest of the Transport office team, dealing with absences, disciplinarys etc.
Deal with recruitment needs, inductions, staff training and more
Managing Key contracts to values above £3m
Make sure all documents, contracts are all in accordance with EU legislation and procedures
Oversee relevant budgets on site
You will be required to be at multiple sites in the Leicester Area (Millage is covered)
Skills & Experience
Previous experience working within a waste transport service or transferable environment.
Previous experience managing a team with proven success
Excellent communication skills.
Excellent attention to detail.
Ability to work autonomously.
The Hours
Monday to Friday on a day shift, circa 40 hours per week.
Rate of Pay
You will earn an hourly rate between £22 - £27.
