Graduate Assistant

About the role: Graduate operations assistant in prestigious sports trading company.This will be a varied and interesting position that will offer huge amounts of responsibility and development for a recent graduate with excellent mathematical ability. You will be acting as operations support working with advanced technology and supporting traders and developers in the sports markets. Based in the City this role joins a team of science and programming individuals who have an interest in the sports markets.Responsibilities:monitoring and operating trading platforms which run 24/7spotting inconsistencies and unusual behaviourdeveloping insights into customer and market behaviourliaising with traders and trading venuestroubleshooting issuesQualifications:BSc degree in Mathematical or scientific subjectStrong ExcelExcellent interpersonal and verbal communication skillsStrong team playerRequired Skills:MeticulousHigh degree of numeracy, including probabilitiesA self-starter, someone with a proactive attitude and a willingness to get stuck in to a number of tasksWell versed in excel and has a good understanding of IT and softwareDegree educated – ideally within a maths / science / data focused subjectPreferred Skills:keen interest in sports
