GL Accountant ( Belfast ) VANRATH are delighted to be working in partnership with an innovative IT business in helping recruit for a GL Accountant. The Benefits Competitive salary Bonus scheme Hybrid / flexible working Superb benefits package The Role: Assist in the preparation of monthly and year-end financial statements for the company and its subsidiaries, with the flexibility and capability to work across different subsidiaries and currencies. Support Month end close and annual close process: accounting entries, accruals, prepayments, balance sheet reconciliation, fixed asset depreciation, reviewing financial documents for accuracy Prepare journal entries and perform monthly bank account reconciliation Review all Accounts Payable invoices for accuracy and process Purchase Orders. The Candidate: Bachelor's degree, preferably in accounting/finance Experience: 2+ years experience in general accounting. Strong accounting knowledge with attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Strong time management and organizational skills with a high degree of attention to detail. Ability to work well under pressure, meet deadlines, and effectively prioritize tasks. Experience with SAP Concur and or Netsuite and intermediate Excel skill strongly preferred.
