A lovely position has arisen within one of the most peaceful and sustainable clients I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with. Your role will involve:
· Overall responsibility for the efficient management of the venue, meeting targets for growth and development
· Strategic planning for the business, helping frame future plans, controlling expenditure, in liaison with the director
· Setting and monitoring targets as necessary
· Taking responsibility for overseeing Catering, Sales, Marketing and Bookings departments
· Overall responsibility for health & safety and risk assessments
· Responsibility for ensuring that service schedules are delivered
· Co-ordinating, and undertaking, where necessary, office administration and assistance, business Rates/Insurance renewals and safe filing of guarantees, maintaining service/utility certificates
· Preparation and review of quarterly reports, together with the book-keeper, and preparation of other reports as requested by the director
· Human Resources: staff recruitment, support, administration of holidays, appraisals, discipline, and terminations, carrying out inductions for all new staff and volunteers
You will be the ideal candidate due to your:
· Solid experience within a similar role
· Proven record of managing teams, working to and achieving targets
· High levels of customer service abilities
· Full driving licence
· Excellent communication skills
· Ability to work flexibly and under pressure
