Job Description: As a General Foreman, you will report to the Contracts Manager and be responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of a complex civil works project. Your duties will include: Maintaining health & safety standards on-site Conducting toolbox talks and other briefings Procuring plant and materials through the company platform Managing the workforce, labour, and subcontractors Assisting in the completion of Safety Plans, RAMS & COSHH Maintaining accurate site record keeping including diaries, allocation sheets, plant returns, and goods received notes Overseeing subcontractors to ensure compliance with their check sheets Coordinating with site operatives and subcontractors to keep the project on schedule Ensuring a Risk Assessment and Method Statement (RAMS) and a Permit to Work system are in place before work commences Requirements: For this role, it is essential that you hold the following professional qualifications: First Aid CSCS Card Driving Licence SMSTS / SSSTS This is a contract position offering a competitive rate for the successful candidate.
