Looking for jobs in Charity?

Have you got an interest in the world of kindness, hard work and are looking for a career whilst also being able to give back? If you don’t yet know what we’re talking about just yet, it’s known by many as the Charity Sector  

Did you know that there are 160,000 charities in the UK, and nearly 90% have an income below £500,000 per year? Charity vacancies include 760,000 paid employees in the charity sector with the combined income of charities being £39 billion per year. This is larger than the automotive industry, UK universities and Tesco. 

Charity career opportunities such as RSPCA jobs and NSPCC jobs, add more value to the UK economy than either the arts or agriculture sectors and it’s a great starting point to gain experience to make a career pivot into other sectors. 

There are many opportunities for university students via charity graduate schemes. The Cancer Research charity and Oxfam both offer graduate schemes. The kind of roles and positions you can find include street sales, partnership development manager, finance assistant, shop manager, senior team leader, charity fundraiser, charity promoter and sales agent.
