Funding Manager / £200 - £250 per day (PAYE rate through Umbrella) / London / Hybrid

Overview:

A Leading Health and Scientific Charity are currently seeking a Funding Manager to join them on a contract position until the end of 2024. The main focus of the role is to work with internal and external stakeholders to provide excellent business partnership and grant funding expertise.

This is an excellent opportunity to work for a globally recognised organisation and gain experience in a Funding Manager position.

Role & Responsibilities:
Provide business partner support to external stakeholders around grant assessment and grant management
Lead funding calls and act as a committee manager
Liaise with external stakeholders regarding denied applications
Dealing with up to 20 ongoing grants and reporting on these
Report to internal stakeholders on progress of approved grants is coming along

Essential Skills & Experience:
PHD degree or relevant degree in science, medical humanities, social science or public health
An excellent communicator
Previous funding experience is desirable but not essential
Fantastic written skills
Knowledge of grant funding and management process
Hard-working and ambitious
A team player who thrives when working with others towards shared goals

Package:
Up to £250 per day (PAYE through Umbrella) depending on experience
