Fostering Team - Social Worker - Wales - Immediate Start

We are seeking an experienced Social Worker to join our client's Fostering Team in South Wales. In this role, you will support foster carers and ensure the well-being of children in foster placements. Your work will involve assessing potential foster carers, supervising and supporting foster families, and ensuring all safeguarding standards are met.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and approve potential foster carers.
• Provide supervision, support, and guidance to foster carers.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of children in foster care.
• Develop and review care plans, working closely with multi-agency teams.
• Maintain accurate case records and documentation.
• Participate in foster carer training and development.

Qualifications:

• Qualified social worker (BA/MA in Social Work).
• Registration with Social Care Wales or equivalent.
• Proven experience in fostering, child protection, or family support services.

Contract Details:

• 6-month contract, 37 hours per week.
• Hybrid working model: 3 days in the office, with flexibility to work from home.
• Candidates must have a current DBS and be registered with Social Care Wales.

Start Date: Immediate start required.

Requirements:

• Degree in social care
• Social Work Wales Registration
• Experience in Fostering Social Work
