Job Title: Fire & Security Installation/Commissioning Engineer
Location: West Midlands
Salary: £34,000 - £37,000 per annum, plus £180 call out
We are actively seeking two dynamic and experienced Fire & Security Installation/Commissioning Engineers on behalf of our client. As a key player in the fire and security industry, our client is expanding its engineering team due to growth in their high-profile client base.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Installation & Commissioning: Take ownership of the installation and commissioning of CCTV, Access Control, Intruder Alarms, and Fire Alarms, ensuring projects are executed to the highest standards.
  • Client-Facing Role: Represent the company while engaging with commercial, public sector, and high-profile domestic clients. Uphold professionalism, discretion, and foster strong client relationships.
  • Call Out: Participate in a 1 in every 5/6 call-out rotation, responding promptly to major reactive breakdowns. Contribute to the reliability of systems through swift issue resolution.
  • Travel: Flexibility is key, as the role requires travel to various client locations. A willingness to work on-site and adapt to different environments is essential.


Requirements:

  • Technical Proficiency: Demonstrate a solid background in the installation and commissioning of fire and security systems, specializing in CCTV, Access Control, Intruder Alarms, and Fire Alarms.
  • Client-Focused: Exhibit excellent client-facing skills, delivering top-notch service and cultivating lasting relationships.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Proactively identify and resolve issues, both independently and collaboratively, ensuring the seamless operation of systems.
  • Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, adapt to changing priorities, and manage multiple projects concurrently.
  • Team Player: Collaborate effectively with colleagues, contributing positively to a growing and dynamic engineering team.
