We require a Multi-Skilled Fire and Security Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and servicing of a wide range of fire and security systems, including fire alarms, CCTV, access control, and intruder alarms. This is a field-based role where you will work across various sites, ensuring systems are installed and maintained to the highest standards while complying with industry regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Installing, servicing, and maintaining fire alarms, CCTV, access control, and intruder alarm systems
  • Conducting fault finding, repairs, and upgrades to existing systems
  • Completing site visits for scheduled maintenance and emergency call-outs
  • Ensuring all work is carried out in accordance with health, safety, and industry regulations
  • Testing and commissioning fire and security systems to ensure full functionality
  • Providing exceptional customer service and maintaining strong client relationships
  • Preparing reports and documentation related to installation and maintenance activities
  • Staying up to date with industry standards, products, and technologies

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Fire and Security Engineer with strong multi-disciplinary skills
  • Experience in the installation and servicing of fire alarms, intruder alarms, CCTV, and access control systems
  • Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations (e.g., BS5839, NSI, BAFE)
  • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
  • Full UK driving licence (essential)
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., FIA, BAFE, NSI) are desirable but not essential
