Fire and Security Engineer

Fire and Security Engineer required for our client, a well established Fire and Security company who are now looking for an experienced engineer in the midlands to support their commercial and education customer base. Projects include McDonalds, Zoos, Hotels, Schools, Councils, Dominos and more.
You will undertake installations and commissioning of Intruder Alarms, CCTV, Access Control and Fire Alarm systems within the commercial sector, whilst also being part of the emergency call out rota.

Fire and Security Engineer Position Remuneration
£30,000 - £38,000 DOE
Local work with minimum travel
Christmas bonus and summer end of year bonus (average is £1,700 p/a)
23 days + 8BH, 3 days over the Christmas period and 1 extra day available to volunteer
Ongoing regular training (£2k p/a)

Initial industry standards fire training (£1k) and relevant manufacturer training

Fire and Security Engineer Position Overview
Installation of fire and security systems
Commissioning of fire and security systems to completion as per specification and drawings
Completing demonstrations to clients
Completing all relevant paperwork for installation and commissioning of systems in line with SSAIB requirements
Fire and Security Engineer Position Requirements
Attend the call out (1 week in 8) - standby £1,500 per year
Location: Nuneaton, Bedworth, Coventry, Tamworth, Leicester (or up to 30 miles from Nuneaton)
A minimum of 5 years' time served experience
Experience in commercial projects
Main strength and experience on intruder alarms and CCTV
Experience with access control, gate & barriers, fire alarms, door entry, aspiration & emergency lighting (beneficial)
Full UK Driving Licence
Experience with the following intruder equipment: Gardtec, Honeywell Galaxy, Risco LightSYS, Risco & Visonic wireless systems. Dualcom signalling.
Experience with Concept Pro & Hikvision CCTV equipment (both analogue and IP)
Enhanced DBS check (desirable but will have to be completed upon joining)
