Finance Manager – 6 Month Contract

Location: Greenwich | Salary: £45,000 + Excellent Benefits | Office Based

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Finance Manager to join a well-established and growing construction firm on a 6-month maternity cover contract. Based in Greenwich, this role is 100% office based and offers a salary of £45,000 plus an excellent benefits package. The company has been operating for over 20 years, employs more than 100 staff, and continues to thrive within the construction sector. This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive finance professional with strong Sage and CIS experience.

Duties & Responsibilities

Oversee weekly payment runs, ensuring accuracy and timely processing

Maintain accurate bookkeeping records using Sage

Manage credit control processes and liaise with clients where required

Handle VAT and CIS returns in compliance with HMRC regulations

Process payroll and manage petty cash and asset financing

What Experience is Required

Previous experience using Sage Accounts and handling CIS returns

AAT qualification (or equivalent) with strong bookkeeping skills

Excellent communication and administrative abilities

Salary: £45,000 (pro rata for 6 months)
