Job DescriptionOutstanding opportunity for a CIMA or ACCA Qualified (or later stage active studier) Finance Business Partner to join a household name, prestigious business based in the Preston area. Working in a friendly, collaborative team of FBPs and Management Accountants - and mentored by an impressive Head of Finance - your remit will include:Working as Finance Business Partner for your own business portfolio.Interpreting and presenting Management information re financial performance.Supporting the Senior Management Team, Budget Holders/Department heads with business decision making.“What if” financial modelling for costs and scenario planning.Financial appraisal of business cases, business change proposals and tender submissions.Ensuring budget holders follow corporate financial strategy across all tactical and operational plans.Supporting the monthly management accounts.Providing timely and insightful variance analysis.Supporting the Annual Budget and Quarterly Forecasting processes. Managing one Assistant Management Accountant/FBP.Applicants will be CIMA or ACCA qualified or later stage Part Qualified, actively working towards achieving full qualification with a background in Management Accounting and Business Partnering. You will have excellent people skills and a track record of forging strong relationships with finance and non-finance staff up to board level. You will have a solid track record of reporting of financial information and interpreting/relaying results to both finance and non- finance managers in clear and concise way, tailored to fit the audience.
