OVERVIEW
Here at Bohr we are looking to recruit a Field Service and Commissioning Engineer to join our team on a permanent basis.
The ideal candidate will be passionate about the transition to clean energy and a natural problem solver. You will have the opportunity to work across our entire range of services and innovation projects. This is a remote role, working from home and travelling to customer sites throughout the UK as required. It would be beneficial for the candidate to be based in the South, West or in Scotland to support our growing team, however all applicants will be considered
The purpose of this role is to deliver not only traditional service and commissioning activities, but to help customers optimise their entire operation, deliver enhanced preventative maintenance and work towards delivering ML/AI solutions to help solve problems before they arise.
ABOUT YOU
The ideal candidate will be an incredible engineer with exemplary technical and organisational skills and a track record of quality and safety excellence, working on complex systems, with multiple stakeholders and often to tight timescales.
Essential skills and Experience -
Experience working in the Energy or Refining industry -
HNC / HND or equivalent experience in Engineering or a related subject, preferably with a software or electrical bias -
Ability to interpret and mark-up technical drawings and documents -
Ability to work independently on a client site and manage your own workload, often in a stressful environment with tight timescales -
Experience with gas analysis including Gas Chromatography -
Experience understanding and working with control systems, including PLCs -
Highly skilled at managing multiple competing priorities and deadlines -
Strong communication skills and excellent team working attributes -
Ability to prioritise conflicting requirements with the ability to fault find and stay calm -
Full driving licence
Desirable skills and Experience - 5+ years previous instrumentation experience in Biomethane, Natural Gas, Hydrogen or petrochemical markets -
Role and industry specific qualifications and certifications (i.e. COMPEX)-
Willing to be part of our 24/7 response team Rota is also a bonus, with excellent pay to match -
Previous experience working with gas metering systems

RESPONSIBILITIES -
Provide service, calibration, maintenance and optimisation activities on client sites across the UK. Overseas may occasionally be offered/required. -
Provide face-to-face and virtual support for customers and colleagues and interface with suppliers -
Assist in the product development of new technologies. -
Support FAT, SAT and commissioning activities, at Bohr HQ and on client sites -
Support the wider business with project execution, design, engineering and build when required -
Within the role, regularly demonstrate the company values of innovation, integrity and optimisation -
Meticulously ensure all records are complete, identifying opportunities for improvement
