Overview
As Field Sales Rep, you will be responsible for full territory planning and management with a focus on identifying new business opportunities to generate revenue, improve profitability and help the business grow. To do this effectively you will need to research and identify new business opportunities - including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, products, and services - or new ways of reaching existing markets.
The Person
You will need to be a confident communicator as you will be responsible for generating your own leads by cold calling new customers and having a can-do attitude to overcome operational obstacles.

Duties/Responsibilities:
* Travel to both current clients and prospects selling our top-rate Healthcare waste disposal services.
* Identifying, sourcing, and selling long and short-term contracts with businesses delivering your sales target.
* Generating and developing leads (through networking with other Tradebe divisions etc.)
* Building relationships both internally and externally
* Working towards and achieving set KPIs and targets
* Using your own initiative and planning your field days effectively
* Maintaining an existing client/customer portfolio and presenting new products
* Working within accounts to maximise sales opportunities providing product gap analysis/keeping up to date on job orders
* You will be required to attend Marlow weekly/bi-weekly for planning sessions and training to ensure that you can deliver the best results from your area
* Ensuring that customer contacts including meetings, tasks, phone calls emails, etc are logged on the C4C (CRM) system with 100% compliance
* Ensuring that an accurate and active pipeline is maintained at all times and that all %/value increases from contracts/jobs are accurately recorded against an opportunity in C4C
* Completion of analysis in relation to lost quotations
* Visit appropriate sites once per quarter and hold an understanding of innovations and process technology
* Complete CPD in line with role requirements
* Complete AMPs and maintain AMPs for larger accounts in the territories and track positive growth
Other Desirable Skills:
* Background in clinical waste (desirable)
* Basic understanding of waste legislation
* Some experience of UK waste industry
* Ideally degree qualified with strong literacy and numeracy
