We have an unique opportunity for a new role of ESG Analyst within an environmental focused manufacturing group.
Do you want to create a standard for energy management systems that can help safeguard our future by making a positive difference in the here and now?
Have you been studying a degree and done some research/studies or do you have some experience within Environmental , social and Governance within business, if so we want to hear from you.
Our client is looking to recruit an enthusiastic and innovative Analyst who is passionate about ESG to join its Scunthorpe based site. They are a leading manufacturer and supplier of moulded fibre products which are made entirely from recycled paper and are biodegradable and compostable.
The successful candidate will be the first ESG analysist on the site and will be able to grow and develop the role in their own way by staying up-to-date with the latest developments in this fast moving field, as well as developing relationships to progress your career.
Responsibilities will include:
*Reporting on ESG trends within the manufacturing sector and producing detailed ESG analysis including ESG KPIs and the full picture of ESG and sustainability criteria
*Introduce, maintain and update ESG models
*Designing and advancing data-driven ESG solutions
*Lead research and analysis on policies, regulation & industry initiatives, assessing and interpreting the data in order to come to better decisions
*Develop the companies capabilities to quantify impact of climate related risks
*Staying up to date on the latest regulation and industry initiatives
*Support an internal team in applying for ISO##### accreditation
Skills required:
*Excellent knowledge in data management, monitoring and reporting
*Experience of carbon emissions reporting
*Ideally some prior relevant experience writing about and researching ESG topics (maybe through a final year dissertation or master's degree in a relevant subject).
*Experience producing timely analysis and/or research
*Proficient on Microsoft Office
*Strong influencing skills
*Self-motivated with the ability to work independently on projects
Working hours:
Monday-Friday 09:00-17:00, with the ability to work from home on occasion when required
