Job Title: Enterprise Architect
Duration: long-term contract
Location: Hybrid (x2 days from Sheffield)
We are seeking a seasoned Enterprise Architect with deep expertise in financial systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading the design and development of our financial systems architecture, ensuring alignment with business goals and regulatory requirements. This role demands a blend of technical leadership, deep understanding of financial processes, and the ability to guide cross-functional teams through complex architectural challenges.
Principal responsibilities :
Accountable for overall design & integrity of the Finance and Cross ecosystem supporting.
Ensure solution designs reflect the needs of the enterprise and works closely with senior architects to ensure alignment with architectural strategy, standards and policies and are properly recorded in appropriate artefacts.
Collaborate with architects and technologist to translate vision into an implementable strategy; employing practical experience and wider delivery and operational considerations.
Ensure designs are approved by relevant design authorities with deviations and key design decisions recorded appropriately.
Strong experience of working with stakeholders across multiple disciplines; business analysts, product owners, testing teams and wider technical stakeholders demonstrating ability to interact with a broad cross-section of personnel to explain and embed the architecture
Ability to create clear, concise architecture solutions and communicate these to both technical and non-technical audiences, ensuring the communication style used is appropriate for the intended audience
