Are you an experienced Head of Engineering working within the waste & recycling industry looking for your next challenge? Are you looking to relocate to one of the most beautiful corners of the UK? Our client, who is a leading waste processing business based in the south east have an exciting opportunity to join their team in leading their engineering function with a focus on the development and installation of new plant and new technogolies.

Responsibilities of the Head of Engineering

* Leading the engineering team/function across the business.

* Designing and implementing production/waste processing equipment and plant.

* Leading engineering and technical support across the business, communicating with colleagues at many different levels throughout the company.

* Project management, from concept to commissioning playing a vital role within the company.

* Ensuring compliance with quality and safety guidelines

Experience within the waste & recycling sector is ESSENTIAL.

* Previous experience in managing projects.

* Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent

You may have or are currently working as a Head of Engineering, Engineering Director, Technical Engineering Manager, Engineering Manager, Director of Engineering within the waste & recycling sector. You will have experience working on processing plant within the waste & recycling sector, equipment such as trommels, shredders, balers, compactors, optical sensors, conveyor systems, sorting plant, VSDs, PLCs and more
