Engineering Manager – Keighley Bus Company
Location: Keighley, West Yorkshire
Salary: £42,000 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday – Day Shifts
Are you ready to lead a dynamic engineering team in keeping our bus fleet running smoothly and safely? The Keighley Bus Company is looking for a highly motivated Engineering Manager to oversee our workshop operations and ensure the highest standards of vehicle maintenance.
What You’ll Do:
Lead and manage a skilled team of engineers and technicians
Ensure timely and efficient maintenance, servicing, and repair of our fleet
Maintain compliance with safety standards and DVSA regulations
Manage workshop scheduling, parts, and stock control
Liaise with operations to minimise downtime and improve reliability
Support staff development, training, and performance reviewsWhat We’re Looking For:
Proven experience in a similar engineering or fleet maintenance management role
Strong leadership and communication skills
Good working knowledge of PSV or HGV maintenance and relevant legislation
A recognised engineering qualification (e.g. NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds)
