Artis HR are supporting a leading professional services business in Bristol with the recruitment of an Employee Relations Advisor to join their established People Team.
This is a great opportunity to step into a busy, fast-paced ER role where you'll work across a wide range of employee relations matters. Reporting into the ER Manager, you'll support managers across the business by providing clear, consistent and commercial advice, with a strong focus on resolution and risk management.
Key responsibilities include:
Acting as the first point of contact for employee relations queries
Advising and coaching managers on disciplinaries, grievances, absence and performance issues
Supporting and leading on investigations, hearings and restructures
Managing high-risk cases, including whistleblowing, discrimination and potential tribunal claims
Ensuring ER policies and practices remain compliant and up to date
Supporting with the delivery of training and ER-related workshops
Getting involved in wider people projects when needed
What we're looking for:
Previous experience as an HR or ER Advisor in a busy HR function
Solid working knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
A proactive, solutions-focused approach
Confidence using Microsoft Office and HR systems
The role is based in central Bristol on a hybrid working basis. The salary on offer is up to £30k
