Ellucian Banner Consultant (Technical / Functional)

Our client a leading IT services company are now We are for an experienced Ellucian Banner Consultant to join their team on a contract basis. This role is offered on a remote basis. The successful candidate will have both technical and functional expertise in implementing, supporting, and optimising Ellucian Banner systems for clients. This role requires a strong understanding of business processes combined with the technical know-how to configure, customise, and troubleshoot Ellucian Banner solutions. The candidate will work closely with clients, development teams, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality and scalable solutions.Is your CV ready If so, and you are confident this is the role for you, make sure to apply asap.Desirable Technologies and Skills:Technical SkillsExperience with Ellucian Banner system architecture, configuration, and customisation.Proficiency in SQL and database management systems (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL) for data extraction and manipulation.Familiarity with XML, JSON, and other data exchange formats.Experience with ETL tools (Extract, Transform, Load) for data migration.Knowledge of ERP systems and related technologies.Understanding of web services and API integration for system connectivity.Experience with Java, C#, or other programming languages (beneficial but not mandatory).Functional Skills:Deep understanding of business processes, especially in finance, HR, and supply chain management.Experience in requirements gathering, business process mapping, and translating functional needs into technical solutions.Knowledge of project management methodologies such as Agile or WaterfallEssential Criteria:Proven experience working as a Technical or Functional Consultant with Ellucian Banner or similar enterprise systems.Strong technical background, with experience in system configuration, customisation, and integration.Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot both functional and technical issues.Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.A solid understanding of business processes and the ability to translate them into system solutions.Synergize Consulting is committed to equality and diversity in our workplace.
