Cammach are delighted to be recruiting an Electrical Technician on behalf of our renowned client based in Aberdeen. The successful candidate will be joining our client at an exciting period of time, as they undergo an exciting period of growth and investment.
Contract: Permanent
Salary: £36,000 - £41,500 DOE + OT
Hours: 38 + overtime
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on assets to ensure optimal functionality
- Diagnose and rectify mechanical issues promptly to minimize downtime and ensure continuous operations
- Maintain detailed maintenance records and report any recurrent issues for further analysis and improvement
- Inspect and test assets before deployment to ensure they meet project specifications and safety standards
- Coordinate with asset management team to align asset readiness with project timelines
- Ensure all tools and equipment required for deployment are in good condition and properly calibrated
- Conduct thorough inspections of returned assets to assess their electrical condition and identify any wear, damage, or required maintenance
- Execute necessary repairs and adjustments to return assets to optimal working condition
- Update maintenance logs with findings and actions taken post-project to inform future maintenance schedules
- Collaborate with the asset team to suggest improvements in asset design and maintenance procedures
- Participate in training programs to stay current with technological advancements and best practices in mechanical maintenance
- Contribute to the development of maintenance procedures and protocols to enhance efficiency and safety
REQUIREMENTS
- HNC (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering qualification (Preferred)
- Modern Apprenticeship (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering (Essential)
- Able to demonstrate competence in reading and understanding Electrical drawings (Essential)
- Good level of secondary education (Essential)
- Computer literate (Preferred)
- Able to identify and use technical tools and instruments (Essential)
- Able to fact find, fault identify, and problem solve (Preferred)
- UK driving licence
