Electrical Estimator

Basic Role Responsibilities:

• Review project plans, drawings, and specifications to understand electrical requirements.


• Prepare accurate cost estimates for materials, labour, equipment, and subcontractor services.


• Utilise estimating software and industry standards to develop detailed cost breakdowns.


• Request and evaluate quotes from suppliers and subcontractors to determine the best options.


• Collaborate with project managers and engineers to clarify project requirements.


• Propose value engineering options to optimise project costs.


• Prepare and submit competitive bids and proposals to clients.


• Conduct cost analysis to compare estimated costs with actual project expenses.


• Maintain accurate records of estimates, bids, and project documents.
