DT Teacher (Textiles) / KS3/4 / Outstanding School / Hounslow

Are you a DT Teacher who has experience teaching Textiles?

Future Education are looking to recruit a passionate teacher who can teach Textiles up to GCSE level. This role will be based in a Hounslow mixed school that Ofsted has rated the school as ‘Outstanding’ so you know you will be in good hands. The is a temp/perm and full-time role which will start ASAP.

Role expectation:

• Effective management of classroom behaviour and keeping a positive learning atmosphere
• Adaptability to ensure students are challenged depending on their varying needs Preparing and explaining homework exercises that will further expand the topic knowledge
• Marking and providing clear and concise feedback on completed work in a timely fashion

Requirements:

• QTS or QTLS is needed
• NQTs/ECTs will also be accepted
• Experience teaching Textiles at GCSE level
• Clean and current enhanced DBS on the update service
• Up to date Safeguarding training
• Strong commitment and a positive attitude to the role and objectives
