Document Controller
Fantastic opportunity for an experienced Document Controller to join a long established, award winning Main Contractor who undertake new build and refurbishment projects
Office based in a well located area in Cambridge, away from the town centre with plenty of parking
The company as a whole successfully work across most sectors including education, health, student accommodation, residential, hotels, industrial and retail - work is predominantly new build

The role - Document Controller
As a Document Controller you will be supporting the Framework Manager, working across sectors including, healthcare, education, and government works.
Role Purpose:
The main purpose of the Document Controller is that you would be working as a member of the Technical team where you will be supporting and maintaining the information processes from all internal disciplines and external sources ensuring the information is effectively captured and managed for the project documentation and records.
Main Responsibilities would include;
* Coordinating and managing an effective management system in line with the project procedures, focusing on all technical and contractual documentation.
* Safeguarding the privacy and security of information stored within our client's system.
* Mange project documentation through agreed work flows.
* Ensure that documentation issued and subsequent review processes are adhered to in line with our clients' processes.
* Review and update procedures, guidelines and work flows related to the document control process
Ideal Candidate will have
* Experience of information/document management in the Construction Industry.
* Previous experience working within information management
* Knowledge of working within systems and procedures
* Excellent organisational skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
* Ability to work to tight deadlines
* Competent user of office computer systems e.g. Microsoft Office
Salary up to £27,000 + 25 days holiday + bank holidays
