Work for a membership organisation in London as an Assistant Director of Administration (temp – perm). The duties of the post fall under the general headings of office administration, membership administration, website maintenance, conference administration, and organisation of public events. Day duties Office administration : Maintenance of records and filing systems. Liaison with external service providers as may be necessary. Membership administration : Control of the membership database and all regular correspondence with the membership including renewals and election of Fellows, including membership invoicing and payments. Conference administration : Responsible for administration of conferences. Handel panel and paper proposals, registration and scheduling of the conference. Liaise with third parties for online systems, venues, catering and other requirements. These duties are done with the assistance of the Office Manager & Events Coordinator. Website maintenance : The Assistant Director (Administration) is responsible for regular housekeeping, updating and improvement of the organisation’s main website, working with colleagues as needed. Technical maintenance is the responsibility of the external webmaster. Organisation of public events : Advertising the events on the website and through email campaigns. These duties are done with the assistance of the Office Manager & Events Coordinator, but occasionally to work together or share these tasks might be appropriate. What we look for Experience as a Head of/AD or Director of Administration. Membership, NFP or Public Sector experience. Line management. Events experience. What we offer 3 – 6 months temporary (either FTC or daily rate, waiting on their HR to confirm). Temp – perm opportunity if all goes well. £250 - £280 a day via an umbrella company (depending on level of experience) or £48,000 - £55,000 pro rata. 35 hours per week. Hybrid. Central London.
