Digital Criminal Investigation Officer
Our client is seeking a Digital Criminal Investigation Officer to join a Central Government Department. This is an amazing opportunity for someone who wants to enhance their knowledge and skillset, applying them on a daily basis in a developing professional environment
This is a long term contract of 12 months
As a Criminal Investigator your main responsibilities will be:
* Assisting with ongoing investigations.
* Preparation of court cases & packs.
* Accessing, interpreting, and using communications data
* Digital media download processes and interpretation of resultant data
* Use of analytical software, particularly 'CHORUS' to drive investigations.
* Training and mentoring of new recruits, specifically in the Policing Education Qualification Framework (PEQF)
You'll have relevant experience in:
* Building evidential cases, following relevant lines of enquiry, liaising with intelligence officers and analysts
* Using digital forensic technology to examine and analyse mobile devices
* Chorus Analytical Software to simplify and enhance the integrity of data
* Mentoring new recruits.
You'll have the following Qualifications/ Skills:
* Professionalising Investigation Programme Accreditation or achieved via grandfather rights.
* Active or recently lapsed SC clearance.
