Daytime Healthcare are recruiting for an experienced Deputy Matron to join their Paediatric Ward in a Private Hospital in the heart of Kensington, London.
Hours : Permanent, Full time
Deputy Matron-Paediatrics Job Role:
The Deputy Matron will act as a lead nurse for the paediatric ward, using expert decision making and clinical judgement to uphold professional standards and support the team to ensure delivery of a high-quality responsive service to children and their families. The Deputy Matron will support the Modern Matron in ensuring the day-to-day operational management is safe, effective, and aligned with the organisation's values and mission. The post holder will be highly visible in their area and will act as a role model and openly sharing knowledge and expertise to support others to learn, trust and grow.
Who are we looking for?
Registered Children's Nurse / NMC pin (No Restrictions on practice)
Teaching/assessing qualification (essential)
Evidence of significant clinical experience in medical area and ability to function at level required. (essential)
Knowledge of NMC Codes and guidelines and their implications for practice
Management qualification or working towards obtaining one.
Experience as a Lead Paediatric Nurse in an NHS or Private Hospital.
