Deputy Matron-Paediatrics / Private Hospital

Daytime Healthcare are recruiting for an experienced Deputy Matron to join their Paediatric Ward in a Private Hospital in the heart of Kensington, London.

Hours: Permanent, Full time

Deputy Matron-Paediatrics Job Role:

The Deputy Matron will act as a lead nurse for the paediatric ward, using expert decision making and clinical judgement to uphold professional standards and support the team to ensure delivery of a high-quality responsive service to children and their families. The Deputy Matron will support the Modern Matron in ensuring the day-to-day operational management is safe, effective, and aligned with the organisation's values and mission. The post holder will be highly visible in their area and will act as a role model and openly sharing knowledge and expertise to support others to learn, trust and grow.

Who are we looking for?

• Registered Children's Nurse / NMC pin (No Restrictions on practice)


• Teaching/assessing qualification (essential)


• Evidence of significant clinical experience in medical area and ability to function at level required. (essential)


• Knowledge of NMC Codes and guidelines and their implications for practice


• Management qualification or working towards obtaining one.


• Experience as a Lead Paediatric Nurse in an NHS or Private Hospital
