An AI intelligence platform, focusing on the Banking sector, is looking for a Data Team Lead/Head of Data ????

This is an exciting greenfield opportunity, where you can drive technical direction in a fast-growing organisation. As in any start-up, this role will require you to be a hands-on leader, but also set the vision and direction as we look to grow.
Current team consists of 3 members (Data Engineer, Data Scientist & Data Analyst) - however, depending on the size of our next funding round, we're expecting this team to grow to 6-10 members over the next 18-24 months, and as the team expands, the need for hands-on involvement will decrease over time and focus more on strategy, architecture and team management.
???? salary : up to £100-110k + share options
???? location : Central London (2-3 office days/week)
Must have requirements:
Strong technical background and progression within Data Science or Data Engineering
Proven track record of building a multidisciplinary data team
Min. 2-3 years line management experience, leading small to medium size teams
Expertise in designing and building scalable data processes
Strong proficiency in Python (ideally for both Data Science and Software Engineering purposes)
Experience in building and managing data platforms and pipelines within a GCP ecosystem and its services
Excellent project management, communication and interpersonal skills
???? Bonus points for:
Having worked in a start-up or scale-up environment
Research or consulting experience
Experience with Artificial Intelligence - or even better, using Generative AI for information extraction
Web scrapping experience
An interest in financial services/banking
