We are seeking a Data and API Integrations Engineering Lead for our client, a Cyber focussed start up, on a fully remote basis. This is a great opportunity for someone who has a keen interest in Cyber Security. Alongside a starting salary of between £90k- £100k, they have some excellent benefits including unlimited annual leave and equity in the business. For this role you MUST be resident and eligible to work in the UK, unsupported by a visa.

Role Profile:

• Lead the Integrations Engineering Team, defining and implementing a scalable integration strategy as the Platform grows.
• You will transform and map the compatibility of data across the different formats
• Building of connectors and interfaces between layers - could be off the shelf connectors
• Manage strategic tooling
• Design and determine appropriate normalisation or standardisation layers to enable rapid deployment and development of new integrations.
• Develop workflows that reflect the flow of data between their Platform and various integration types.
• Address technology and data challenges, including handling large amounts of data and providing clients with control over their data and related processes.

• Technologies:
• Python, Go
• React.js, TypeScript
• MySQL
• Others: ECS, Kubernetes (K8s), Airflow, Kafka, Serverless, AWS
• Minimum of 5 years in:
• Leading and managing a team of engineers, scaling out the Integrations Engineering team.
• Collaborating with clients to gather and analyse requirements for integrations, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical capabilities.
• Establishing and building core SOPs for integrations, implementing strategies for rapid deployment.
• Managing diverse integration types, including push, pull, and bidirectional syncs across various platforms such as cloud, RBVM, and data sources.
• Working with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).

It would be great if you also had experience:

• Setting up integrations across different types of providers.
• Interacting with and understanding the requirements of enterprise clients.
• Developing integrations for use within cybersecurity technologies
• Working in an Agile environment with a strong DevOps culture
