Our client is looking to build out its CISO team with a Cyber Assurance Manager, reporting into the Head of Information Security.

Do you have broad cyber and InfoSec experience, comfortable building a function from scratch, interested in a new challenge?

This is a unique opportunity, responsible for designing, managing and overseeing the assurance program – a key part of ensuring detection, prevention and response to risks (including data theft) and make a lasting impact on the strategy, growth and direction of the team .

Role of a Cyber Assurance Manager

Design, manage and oversee Assurance program
Establish ‘Assurance awareness’ in the business to drive risk awareness and effective risk management
Identify and respond to Assurance incidents and escalations
Create and implement Assurance policies, standards, processes and procedure
Liaise with key stakeholders including senior management to ensure effective progress of the assurance program as well as assurance awareness.

Requirements of a Cyber Assurance Manager

Knowledge and experience of Assurance principles and programs
Deep understanding of Microsoft Purview with experience of implementation
Technical expertise and experience in Assurance tools and techniques to perform data collection, analysis and reporting
Management experience – leading and directing teams with clear and realistic objectives
Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
A good understanding of security frameworks including ISO standards, Cyber essentials, and data protection.
