A prestigious, multidisciplinary Property & Real Estate Consultancy is seeking a client facing, experienced Construction Director of Project Management to enhance their thriving Birmingham office.

The Construction Director of Project Management Role

The successful Construction Director will hail from a consultancy Project Management background and be primed to lead the Project Management team.

As Construction Director of Project Management, you will play a crucial role in shaping the teams strategic direction, getting involved in work winning, business development and growing the Project Management team.

This consultancy boasts a strong presence in the property market, working on Logistics, Commercial, Residential, Hotel, Student Accommodation and many more sectors. This role has a particular focus in building on the Logistics sector, so you will ideally have experience in this area.

Responsibilities include:

• Developing new business opportunities and winning work to ensure continuous growth in the logistics sector.
• Maintaining and enhancing relationships with existing clients, ensuring their needs are met with precision and professionalism.
• Overseeing the full spectrum of project delivery, from initial client meetings through to successful completion.
• Leading and managing a dedicated team, fostering an environment of collaboration and excellence.

The Construction Director of Project Management

The new Construction Director will have:

• Previous experience in Project Management roles within UK Construction Consultancies
• A Construction related degree qualification
• Professional Accreditations - MRICS, MAPM or MCIOB is highly desirable
• Previous experience working in the Logistics sector
• Proven ability to win new business and develop client relationships.
• Strong leadership skills, capable of running a high-performing team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, essential for client interaction and team management.
